Blockchain R&D Hub is a technology company with primary focus on building core blockchain solutions for global markets. In particular we work on building scalable and reliable P2P networks, distributed storage and computing platforms.
Job Description:
We are looking for a JavaScript Developer who is motivated to combine the art of design with the art of programming. Responsibilities will include implementing visual elements and their behaviors with user interactions. You will work with both front-end and back-end web developers to build all client-side logic. You will also be bridging the gap between the visual elements and the server-side infrastructure, taking an active role on both sides, and defining how the application looks and functions.
Responsibilities:
- Develop new user-facing features
- Develop new software applications from concept to finish, with regular tests and maintenance.
- Guarantee the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
- Build reusable code and libraries for future use
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
- Collaborate with other team members
Skills and Qualifications:
- At least 2 years of experience as JavaScript developer
- Strong understanding of JavaScript, its quirks, and workarounds
- Basic understanding of web markup, including HTML5 and CSS3
- Good understanding of TypeScript, Angular2+
- Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX
- Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around such issues
- Experience working with git, Atlassian products (JIRA, Confluence)
- Good understanding of browser rendering behavior and performance
Great if you have:
- Experience with unit testing frameworks and supporting tools, i.e. Jasmine, Karma
- Knowledge of Blockchain
- Strong multitasking skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, to work to deadlines and to cope with fast changing situations.
