POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collaborate with the content development team to create content that improves search engine rankings and site visitor engagement.
- Continuously monitor best SEO practices, and how users interact with our content.
- Optimize and test content for global search engines.
- Perform ongoing keyword research including discovery and expansion of keyword opportunities.
- Track, report and analyze content, engage with editorial and development teams to optimize content, pages, devices, and overall digital architecture.
- Develop and implement link-building strategy and partnerships with relevant blogs and publishers.
- Monitor competitor and industry partner search placements and content strategies.
Perform other marketing job-related functions.
KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE
EDUCATION: Bachelor's in Marketing, Business, Communications, Web Design, Computer Science, or related field of study; or any equivalent combination of relevant background and job experience.
EXPERIENCE: Minimum 2 years experience in SEO Management in a Marketing or Agency environment.
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
- Excellent knowledge of the English language.
- Experience with SEO tools like Brightedge, MOZ, SEM Rush, Google Search Console etc.
- Knowledge of ranking factors and search engine algorithms.
- In-depth experience with website analytics tools (e.g, Google Analytics).
- Passionate about performance-based content development. Proven SEO experience and performance.
- Up to date with the latest trends and best practices in SEO and SEM.
- Exceptional creative and writing skills for traditional and long-tail searches.
- Working knowledge of HTML, CSS is a big plus.
